What the Readers Say
Road to London started to build the atmosphere that made the reader feel like they had stepped into a time machine and warped to the 16th century, from the beginning.
The main character, Thomas was brought to life by the writer which made the book personal to the reader, which in my eyes is a great accomplishment by the author.
The situations Thomas got himself into had you on the edge of your seat and made me think about what I would do if I was in his shoes. There were lots of bumps in the Thomas’ road where he came upon new people and tasks, and also forks in his road.
I immensely enjoyed the book and I recommend it but I warn readers, this book is unputdownable. --Saul
A really good book. Would help you learn about the Tudors as there was loads about them. Some parts made me feel a bit afraid but it was very exciting. I love Alice, and I loved the ending. --Izzy

"I thought this book was very gripping and interesting to read. To be frank, I had trouble putting the book down! Freddie was my favourite character. The setting for the book was in WW2 and action full. I liked this book because it was different. Normally in war books they are boring. This book is fantastic! I really enjoyed reading it, I rate it 10/10!" --Ashton-Leigh
