Finishing the next book!

Posted on by Barbara Mitchelhill

Since early this year, I’ve been writing A Twist of Fortune – story set in Victorian times about three children who go and live with their Aunt Maud and Uncle Bert in the very worst part of London called Devil’s Acre.  When Maud and Bert run off, the children are left in this terrible place and the only thing to do is to find their grandfather.

So that’s the start of the story and I’ve had great fun writing it.  This is a picture of me at work in my untidy office.  I’ve got a picture of the cover for the book on the wall – and some covers of other books, too.  I’m very lucky that my office has a large window overlooking fields but I do find the sheep very distracting, especially in spring.
